Tryon is the presenting sponsor of the Heart of Charlotte Awards, which provides grants and awards to individuals and community organizations to support collaborations, partnerships and leadership. Honorees are celebrated for their exceptional commitment to bettering the Charlotte metro community by strengthening neighborhood connections, investing in educational achievement, creating jobs and supporting business development, and fostering social, racial and health equity.
One of this year’s award categories is “Frontline Worker of the Year” which will honor a healthcare worker in the community who is dedicated to fostering healthcare equity. We no doubt have many Tryon team partners who would be worthy of this acknowledgment! Please feel free to nominate each other.
Nominations are free and open to all individuals who reside in or work in the Charlotte metro area and organizations that have offices with a Charlotte metro address. Nominations are due Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at 5 p.m.
