Tryon Management Group recently welcomed Jordan Archer to the role of Senior Vice President of Operations. Learn more about him, and how he hopes his role will help every team partner better serve patients.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born and raised here in Charlotte. I went away for undergraduate and graduate school, but came back about six years ago. My wife is a social worker for Communities In Schools and we have two young daughters. I love spending time with my family and friends.
Describe your role at Tryon Management Group?
I am here to plug in wherever I can and help to support and advocate for you, the team partners. I am here to remove obstacles, so everyone can continue to push the bar higher and grow collectively both individually and as an organization.
My goal is to put the right people in the right place, build trust, and be there to support throughout the journey. I am an “open door” guy and always want to ensure all team partners know how valuable they are to our overall mission and vision.
Why were you professionally drawn to Tryon?
I have a really firm belief in the value of primary care and internal medicine. For so long in this country, primary care has fallen by the wayside, but it’s the basis for our healthcare system. The “why” is a big part of the drive here at Tryon. Combining primary care and specialty care within a single organization is powerful for all the right patient centered reasons. I love the mission and vision.
What is meaningful about your work?
Anybody can figure out the ins and outs of healthcare. The difference in healthcare is that it’s bigger than ourselves and what we do, we do for our patients and our community. It is a great incentive to continually pursue excellence knowing you can be a part of bettering the lives of others.
What is something not many people know about you?
I played college soccer and am a huge fan of all Charlotte sports teams.
